About the event

Experience something out of the ordinary in one of the most atmospheric corners of Sussex.

This July, we embark on a roaming feast through medieval Winchelsea and the surrounding countryside. Follow the 7-mile route at your own pace and journey between a series of venues, enjoying food, drink, music and unexpected moments of discovery along the way.

It’s designed to be a full, fun day out, bringing together history, walking, eating, drinking, music and discovery in a way that feels both relaxed and memorable.

Your ticket includes:

  • 3-course, locally produced, progressive menu, plus refreshments on registration, trail snack & spring water

  • drink pairing at each stop, featuring local wine from Charles Palmer Vineyards and artisan beer from Racketters Brewing Company or if you choose the alcohol free ticket, locally sourced no or low, soft option or juice

  • live music - three great acts 🎶

  • map to guide you around a carefully curated self-guided walking route through Winchelsea and the surrounding countryside, with some surprises along the way!

  • a memorable finale at Charles Palmer Vineyards

Along the way, the trail reveals hidden gardens, historic inns, quiet country paths and sweeping views across the Sussex countryside and out towards the Channel, before culminating at Charles Palmer Vineyards.
