Harvest Hoedown 2026

YEEHAH!

Dust off your dancing boots and get ready for a night of live music, big barn-dance energy and good old-fashioned fun!

After the wonderful response to last year's Rye Harvest barn dance, the Hoedown is back for 2026 - and we're planning an even bigger night of dancing, dress-up, eating, drinking and getting into the spirit of it all.

🎻 Live music

We're thrilled to welcome back Cut A Shine, the UK's premier Ceilidh & Hoedown band, to get the room rocking. They were a huge part of what made last year’s Hoedown so popular, and we are delighted to have them back in Rye.

Never danced a hoedown before? No problem! Their friendly calling means you'll be guided through the dances as you go, making it just as much fun for complete beginners as it is for seasoned dancers. Expect high-energy music, zero judgement, plenty of laughs and very little standing still.

🌟Dancing and dress-up

Fancy going all-out cowboy? Brilliant. Want to turn up in your normal clothes? Also brilliant.

Dressing up is warmly encouraged, but never compulsory - although there may be a little recognition for the most enthusiastic outfits! Last year was a sea of checked shirts, denim, prairie dresses, hats and boots. Even the dogs dressed up - you really went all out!

🍻 Refresh and revive!

Expect a bar stocked with local drinks and a signature cocktail, and a superb BBQ and pizza bar on hand to feed our hungry hoedowners - Rye Harvest style!

🫱🏽‍🫲🏻This year's charity partners

It's important to us to support local volunteer-led organisations and charities, and on the night we'll be fundraising for official charity partner Rye Foodbank, along with new partners, The Community Centre!

We've thought of a fun and inclusive way of fundraising for these volunteer organisations that are so vital for the community. Come and check out our Human Fruit Machine! 🍇

If availability allows, tickets will be available on the door, but we recommend securing your place in advance for the best deal 🎟️
