Our Gastronomic Promenade is a special one-day, self-guided food and drink trail. Participants follow a walking route through the countryside, stopping at a series of venues to enjoy a pairing menu along the way.

On the day, participants will check-in at our registration desk inside Winchelsea New Hall, before heading out on a full day of adventure following a self-guided, planned walking route that stops at a series of points of interest and venues for live music, as well as curated food and drink offerings along the way.

Ticket holders are given a map, a lanyard to collect trail stamps, and a reminder of the day's schedule.

In the lead-up to the event, we'll invite ticket holders to join our WhatsApp Channel to receive real-time updates, exclusive content and information to best help you prepare (think weather forecasts and travel information!).

Our carefully curated route is 7 miles across stunning countryside terrain. The walk takes approximately 6 hours to complete at a leisurely pace, including time to enjoy the food and drink stops along the way. We recommend planning for a full day out.

Weather conditions can change quickly, so come prepared for both sunshine and rain!

The Gastronomic Promenade is an outdoor event and will normally go ahead in a wide range of weather conditions. We recommend dressing appropriately for the forecast and bringing suitable footwear. A little rain often brings us the best rainbows, after all.

Tickets are non-refundable in the case of poor or inclement weather, unless the event is cancelled by the organisers. Please ensure your contact details are correct at checkout so we can keep you updated in the run-up.

Occasionally circumstances outside our control may require changes to the route, timetable or participating venues. We reserve the right to make changes where necessary while maintaining the overall quality of the experience.
