This July, join us in Winchelsea for a special, one day self-guided food and drink trail. Part walk, part feast, our Gastronomic Promenade transforms the stunning Sussex countryside into a roaming dining experience.​​

Unfolding along a 7-mile route, guests journey between a series of venues, enjoying local food, drink, live music and unexpected moments of discovery along the way.

It's a full day out to be enjoyed at your own pace, with well-behaved dogs on leads welcome!

Inspired by France’s Rando des Gourmets and Italy’s Magnalonga, the GastroProm reimagines the experience for Sussex, where Winchelsea once stood among England’s most important ports for importing wine from Bordeaux.​
One of the highlights will be our very own bespoke dessert created especially for Winchelsea by resident Natasha Robinson, adding a sweet pep in your step before the vineyard finale at Charles Palmer Vineyards.​
